As of January 6, 2025, Argo has decided to exit the professional liability business sector. Their renewals will be transferred to Core Specialty and Westfield Specialty.
Argo Group is exiting the professional lines insurance business due to the inability to achieve profitability aligned with its strategic goals. A portion of the business will be transferred to Core Specialty, while another part will be covered under a renewal rights agreement with Westfield Specialty. Argo remains committed to providing a smooth transition and will continue to offer a wide range of property and casualty insurance products in the U.S. and internationally.
